Welcome to Three Birds and an Owl. These terms explain how purchases made through this website work. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
About my products
Three Birds and an Owl creates handmade sketchbooks, original artwork and other handmade pieces.
Many of my sketchbooks are made using repurposed vintage books and materials. Because of their age and handmade nature, there may be small marks, variations or signs of previous life. These are part of the character of the piece rather than faults.
I will always describe and photograph items as accurately as possible, including any significant marks or imperfections that I think you should know about before purchasing.
Ordering
When you place an order, you will receive confirmation using the contact details provided at checkout.
If for any reason I am unable to fulfil your order, I will contact you and arrange a refund.
Please check that your delivery address and order details are correct before completing your purchase.
Prices & payment
All prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) unless stated otherwise.
Payment must be made at checkout using one of the payment methods available on the website.
Any delivery charges will be shown before you complete your purchase.
Delivery
Orders will be carefully packaged and sent to the delivery address supplied at checkout.
Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide and cannot be guaranteed, particularly for international orders.
International customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes or other charges that may be applied in their country.

Returns & cancellations
If you change your mind about an eligible purchase, you have the right to cancel and return it within the time limits explained in my Returns & Refunds policy.
Personalised or custom-made items cannot normally be returned simply because you have changed your mind.
Your statutory rights are not affected.
Damaged or faulty items
Every order is checked and carefully packaged before it is sent.
If something arrives damaged, faulty or isn't what you ordered, please contact me as soon as possible so I can put things right.
Original artwork & designs
Purchasing an original artwork, sketchbook or other item does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights to the buyer.
Artwork and designs remain the intellectual property of Three Birds and an Owl unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Website information
I do my best to make sure that product descriptions, photographs, prices and other information on this website are accurate.
Colours can appear slightly different depending on the screen or device being used, and handmade items may have natural variations.
